About 100 Cases in Pediatrics
The series of 100 cases provides a new method for learning and analysis. The reader is guided through each clinical case in a highly organized manner. Each scenario details the initial assessment results as well as the main findings of the patient’s medical history and clinical assessment.
The reader must evaluate the patient, and decide on his condition and future treatment program, and the answers indicate how a physician would proceed in various situations under certain conditions.
This section is structured to help students learn self-direction, clinical thinking, and problem-solving.

Brief Overview of 100 Cases in Paediatrics PDF
For each case, a summary of the history, examination, and (if appropriate) investigations is given on one page, with a discussion of the case on the next page.
A new edition of the pediatric book is due to be released in 2017. Hopefully, this new version will correct some of the information that seemed a little out of date. If you are planning to modify this version, I would suggest looking at the management guidelines specifically for some cases.
Overall this is a comprehensive selection of cases that covers many of the essential presentations and terms that come up in medical school examinations. However, more in-depth textbook reading will be necessary to complete these matters. The series could be improved by suggesting additional reading material at the end of each case.” -Catherine from the United Kingdom
